Elegoo 5020 Axial Flow Fan For Orangestorm Giga

SKU: 04.203.0027
New

Description

The 5020 Axial Fan series (50 x 50 x 20mm) is a significant step up from standard desktop printer fans. The increased 20mm thickness allows for deeper fan blades, which generate higher static pressure—essential for pushing air through the dense internal components of the OrangeStorm Giga.
  • Model 04.203.0027 (Heat Break / Extruder Fan): This fan is primarily responsible for cold-end cooling. It prevents "heat creep" by blowing air across the heatsink of the hotend, ensuring the filament remains solid until it reaches the melting zone. It is designed for continuous operation during a print.
  • Model 04.203.0026 (Electronics / Power Fan): This version is typically utilized for chassis or mainboard cooling. Given the Giga's high-power requirements (up to 1,530W), this fan ensures the stepper drivers and power conversion units remain within safe operating temperatures.

Features

High Static Pressure: Optimized to maintain high airflow even when mounted against heatsinks or within confined electronics bays.
Brushless DC Technology: Utilizes a brushless motor for low electrical noise and a significantly longer operational lifespan (approx. 40,000 hours).
Aero-Acoustic Tuning: Seven-blade geometry designed to maximize CFM (Cubic Feet per Minute) while minimizing the high-pitched "whine" common in high-speed fans.
Vibration Dampening: Engineered with balanced rotors to prevent mechanical vibrations from transferring to the gantry, which could cause "ringing" in print quality.
Plug-and-Play: Pre-terminated with the specific JST-style connectors used on the Giga’s distribution and mainboards.
